In 2016 Virgil Abloh’s Milan-based streetwear brand Off-White opened the doors to “Windows”, its fourth Asian brick-and-mortar store. Located at 268 Orchard Road, one of the most famous shopping streets in Singapore, the store features a minimalist architectural design by Abloh and Family NY. Inspired by graphic designer Michael Rock and German architect van der Rohe, Windows evolved from Abloh’s vision of modernizing the retail landscape between different cities and locations all the way down to its neighbours.
