Renowned as a cultural icon, Opening Ceremony Los Angeles opened its doors in April 2007, on La Cienega Boulevard in West Hollywood, in what used to be Charlie Chaplin’s dance studio. The company was founded by Carol Lim and Humberto Leon. Discovery is the theme of the 10,000 sq.ft. store with its laidback LA vibes and expansive shop floor that is a throwback to Southern California’s mall culture. On its first floor, is a maze of shop-in-shops which make for a fun treasure hunt, at the end of which you discover treasures from brands like Acne, Mayle, Topshop, Alexander Wang, Band of Outsiders, and D.A.P.
