Berlin, Germany

That’s where it all started, in 2009. In Berlin-Mitte. Brunnenstrasse. Formerly used as an art gallery, we didn’t change the interior that much. We left the concrete floor coating the way it was, only added the wall unit from the 50ies and some other furniture. This was the set up were we, Alex Flach and Andreas Hesse, wanted to build up a space that was part skate store, part street wear boutique, and a place where art exhibitions and launches could happen. And where all different kind of people could meet – musicians, artists, skateboarders, BMX riders. From here or elsewhere. Exactly what we have encountered in Berlin’s skateboarding scene and in its club culture. And we wanted to take this approach into our store.
