Set&Sekt

Basel, Switzerland

ET&SEKT is a concept store in Basel, founded 2007, offering a carefully curated selection of merchandise by well-established and young designers alike. With her distinct sense of aesthetics, proprietor Corinne Grüter has created an inspirational ambiance for well-dressed people looking to expand their horizons. Men’s and women’s fashion collections are accentuated by a carefully selected assortment of shoes, jewelry, exquisite leather goods, as well as high end books and magazines. The merchandise is exhibited on the walls via floating clothes rails and cement cubes. A black sculpture of lacquered steel, designed by Andreas Bründler of Buchner Bründler Architects, serves as a sales area and coffee bar. It represents the architectural heart of the space, welcoming the customer with quiet, unpretentious elegance.
